In an effort to improve access to patients who struggle to get in during the week we hold a regular Saturday morning surgery at the Bradgate site from 0900h to 1300h. This surgery is for routine pre booked appointments only. We have only one consulting GP and nurse on a Saturday. You are free to book into these slots in the same way as a normal surgery.
Unfortunately we cannot see walk ins on the day. If you need urgent care on a weekend and do not have a pre-booked appointment you will need to call the 111 service to access a GP. This will usually be at the Southmead hospital site with BrisDoc.
The Saturday surgery is very popular and is usually fully booked by the morning of the surgery. There is only ever one GP consulting and there is no capacity for extra appointments. Please don't be offended, but you will be turned away and re-directed to 111 if you arrive with no pre-booked appointment.
The surgery is open but we have very limited staff on a Saturday, principally to support the consulting doctor and nurse. However, you are welcome to pop in and collect proscriptions or book appointments.
