First Contact Physiotherapist
Pioneer Medical Group are proud to support our practice based first contact physiotherapist service. First contact physiotherapists are advanced physiotherapists who are clinically competent to manage and treat musculoskeletal problems which means you may not need to see a GP.
If you are aged 18 or over and need to be seen for a musculoskeletal issue and meet the following criteria you will be offered an appointment with the physiotherapist in the first instance.

If you need to be reviewed for an musculoskeletal related issue, please complete an e-consult form online. Alternatively, please call Pioneer Medical Group to book an appointment. Appointments will be arranged either on the telephone to discuss the history of the problem or as face to face where a specialist examination can take place.
Renata Titurusova I qualified as a BSc Physiotherapist in 1998 and have worked as specialist physiotherapist in the Musculoskeletal service in the last 15 years. I worked as an advanced physiotherapist in the Interface Service for 4 years and as a First Contact Physiotherapist for the past 3 years. I am a fully qualified soft tissue and joint injector. I am passionate about prevention of musculoskeletal injuries. I enjoy spending time with my family. I love anything to do with craft and enjoy my regular yoga and run. |
Melanie Wilson Melanie qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from King’s College London in 2004. After completing two years as a rotational physiotherapist at the Oxford Radcliffe hospitals, she specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and completed an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2015. She has been working as a Sirona First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) with Pioneer Medical Group for the last 3 years. She is able to provide musculoskeletal steroid injections as part of the FCP service. In her spare time Melanie enjoys running, including regularly attending local Parkruns |
