Dr Camille Chambers MBChB, BSc, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFSRH, LOC (SDI), PGDip Dr Chambers qualified from Bristol University in 2009 and joined Pioneer Medical Group in September 2018, having been working at Bradgate Surgery as a Registrar since 2016. Dr Chambers has particular interests in Dementia and women's health. She is trained to fit contraceptive implants. Dr Chambers is usually based at Bradgate Surgery and works Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. |
Dr Sally Cooper MRCGP, DCH, DFSRH, DRCOG. Completed medical training in Cambridge and London, graduating in 1999. Sally used to work at our Lawrence Weston practice since 2007. Prior to this, she practiced in Wellington, New Zealand. She enjoys the wide variety of general practice, continuity of care and is a GP Trainer. Interests include women's health and child health. Dr Rachel Limna MB BCh BaO MRCGP (distinction), DRCOG, DFSRH. Qualified Queens university in Belfast in 2000. Rachel spent several years working in emergency medicine prior to becoming a GP in 2006.. She has an interest in women's health and minor surgery. Rachel worked in Northern Ireland and Australia before settling in Bristol in 2011. Before having children she enjoyed skydiving; completing almost 1000 jumps, coaching and competing at national level. Free time is spent having fun with her two children. Dr Limna is a partner. Dr Andrew Masters MBChB (Bristol, 2009) MRCGP DRCOG MPharm DipClinPharm Dr Masters will be away from the surgery from April on Sabbatical, returning in October. Joined the practice in 2014 having worked on placement at Bradgate surgery as a junior doctor. Dr Masters worked as a pharmacist in the hospital and community sector before retraining in medicine. Dr Veronica Pickering MBChB (1992)DCH, DRCOG, DFSRH,MRCGP, Dip Therapeutics. After completing her training in Taunton Veronica worked in Africa for a couple of years before returning to her home town of Bristol. She enjoys most aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in women’s health, substance misuse and teaching medical students. Veronica values the contacts she has with local community groups with a shared goal of improved health and well being for all local residents. Dr Pickering is a partner. Dr Anna Tilley Anna joined Pioneer Medical Group in 2019. She has an interest in women's health and sexual health and can fit coils and implants. Anna spends some scheduled time looking after patients in a local Nursing Home. She also trains doctors to become GPs. When she is not at work she enjoys being outdoors, walking and spending time with her family. Dr Tilley works at Bradgate Surgery all day on Monday and mornings only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. |

Dr Emma Wade MBCHB MRCGP Clin Dip Pall Care After qualifying in Medicine in the midlands, Dr Wade has worked as a doctor in the Bristol area since 2013. Dr Wade also worked in New Zealand before returning to complete her GP training, she worked at Pioneer during her GP training and re- joined Pioneer Medical Group in January 2022. She has an interest in end-of-life care. She also teaches year 3 Bristol Medical Students. Dr Wade usually works from Bradgate Surgery on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. |
Dr Megan Rowlands Dr Rowlands qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2009. After a year working in Perth, Australia, she completed her GP training in the South West, and was a Registrar at Bradgate surgery before joining the Pioneer team. She has an interest in women's health and is trained to fit contraceptive implants and coils. When not at work she can be found playing the piano, running around on a touch rugby field or travelling the corners of the globe. Dr Rowlands is a partner. She usually works at Ridingleaze Health Hub on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday however she is currently on maternity leave. |
Dr Kimberly Bruce Dr Bruce qualified as a doctor in Bristol and worked in obsetrics and gynaecology before becoming a GP. She has particular interests in women's health, contraception and teaching. She is trained to fit implants and coils and also teaches Bristol medical students communication skills. Outside medicine she enjoys playing the ukulele, weight lifting, open water swimming and spending time with her children. Dr Bruce usually works at Bradgate Surgery on Monday and Wednesday. |
Dr Namratha Pandalai MbChB, PGCert Medical Education, MRCGP Dr Pandalai qualified from the University of Birmingham before moving to Bristol to study General Practice. She has a particular interest in women's health, mental health, medical student education and teaching medical students from the University of Bristol. In her spare time she enjoys sewing and dressmaking, weight lifting and spending time with family. Dr Pandalai usually works at Ridingleaze Health Hub on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. |
Dr Simon Thornton MBChB, BSc, MRCS, Dip Med Ed, FHEA, MRCGP Dr Thornton qualified from Bristol medical school in 2007 and initially pursued a career in surgery before choosing to become a general practitioner. He has an interest in medical education, men’s health and gastroenterology and is a trained endoscopist. In his spare time he is a keen triathlete, kite surfer and father. Dr Thornton is a partner. Dr Alice Marchant MRCGP, DRCOG, MBChB Dr Marchant joined the team in August 2022. She enjoys teaching and is particularly interested in undergraduate education. She also has a clinical interest in women's health. In her spare time, Alice enjoys hiking, swimming, cycling and jogging. Dr Charles Marshall Dr Marshall qualified from the University of Manchester. Then took opportunities to work in London and Australia, before returning to Bristol to complete his GP training. Dr Marshall has interests in lifestyle medicine, holistic healthcare and health inequalities. He is also assistant clinical director of the Primary Care Network and is involved in medical education. When not in work, he likes to play football, get outside and eat good food. Dr Marshall usually works at Ridingleaze on Tuesday and Friday afternoons, Wednesday mornings and all day Thursday. |
Dr Elizabeth Grove MRCP, BMBS, BMedSci, MRCGP Dr Grove started locuming at Pioneer Medical Group in 2022, following her return from a two-year sabbatical in India, Australia and New Zealand. It's great to have Lizzie join the team on a permanent basis. When Dr Grove is not at Pioneer, she works alongside Dr Bruce & Dr Thornton at the University of Bristol. In Lizzie's spare time, she enjoys cycle touring, cooking, and reading for her book club. You'll also often find her running the Eastville Park run with her husband.
