We can write a letter if you employer insists on written evidence for fewer than seven days off work. There will be a charge for this. This is not a sick note but a letter from your GP to your employer confirming you have consulted with us. The letter does not start the clock ticking with respect to statutory sick pay.
Children do not need sick notes if they have sick days from school. We will not provide parents with them. If your school insists on proof of a consultation please give them a copy of this letter or direct them to this page of the website.
You will be provided with one sick note. You are free to make copies of and distribute to any agencies asking to see it. We can't acomodate requests for multiple signed copies of sick notes.
