Judi Dewar
Judi qualified as an adult nurse in 1985.
She is based at the Ridingleaze site on Wednesdays and Avonmouth on Fridays.
Tina Stait
Tina is a diabetes nurse specialist.
Tina joined the Ridingleaze surgery in 2008. She has a specialist interest and advanced qualifications in diabetes management. Tina is also a nurse prescriber, She works at the Ridingleaze site.
Wendy Tirbooman
Wendy trained at UHW and worked there before moving to BRI, where she worked in the A+E Dept for 10 years. Wendy moved to Ridingleaze as Practice Nurse in 1998. Her Special interests are Diabetes, Childhood Immunisations and people with Learning Disabilities.
In order to better reflect the skills and knowledge of our practice team have we reviewed a number of Job Descriptions and as a result we have a retitled a number of roles: Our ‘nursing team’ will continue to provide excellent clinical care and where they have specialist training, for instance diabetes, this will be added to their title and they will be known as a Nurse Specialist. The traditional ‘reception team’ will now be known as The Care Navigator Team, as before, they are here to support you in finding the right service, with the right person at the right time.
