What do I need to know?
You've been referred to see a specialist by a Pioneer clinician. Our secretarial team will do their best to manage your referral speedily.
We understand it can be stressful, and at times scary, experience being referred to see a specialist. You may be concerned about the diagnosis? Who will I see? What will they say? Will I need tests? Will I need any treatment? It is worth preparing yourself for the appointment. There is often a lot of information to take on board. Jot down any questions you may have in advance. Consider taking someone to help you at the appointment. Two heads are better than one! The British Medical Association have produced a leaflet to help you navigate through you specialist appointment.
